The Imaging Department at Monroe Surgical Hospital is equipped with the latest state of the art Radiographic equipment and a digital "filmless" system. Images, or x-rays, are processed and kept on a digital computer storage system for the absolute best image quality and easy retrieval.

Open MRI
The Open MRI is great for patients that are claustrophobic or for those who may just like a little extra room.
 CT Scanner
Our GE High Speed Scanner produces great images with very short scan time.
2 Nuclear Medicine
The two GE Millieium Nuclear Medicine Scanners can perform everything from bone scans to stress test.
 Mammography
The Mammography department is certified by the American College of Radiology from optimum quality.
Heart Catherization Lab
The Cath Lab is able to perform Heart Catherizations as well as vascular imaging.
 Digital Routine Radiography
A totally digital radiographic room is available which basic chest, extremities, etc. x-rays are done as well as gastric studies such as Upper GI's.
Ulrasound
The Ultrasound department is capable of imaging abdomens, vascular studies, as well as obstetric (O.B.) exams.

 Echo/Vascular lab
Echo and Vascular ultrasound studies are available with the very latest equipment.
Interventional Radiography and Myelograms
Arteriograms/ Angiograms and Myelograms are now available weekly.
 Patient's x-ray copies are now burned on CD's that can be viewed on any PC
(Regular laser copies are still available)
